Samsung Applies for Blockchain Trademarks

Samsung has revealed through trademark applications that it is planning to develop mobile software for the digital asset space. Three separate word trademarks were applied for yesterday, at the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office (EU IPO).

As expected, the details on the applications are sparse. All of the three applications pertain to mobiles and software:

While a public announcement is still forthcoming, one can surmise that Samsung are working on bringing digital assets to their mobile devices and platforms. While the bear markets continue to bring devastation to the speculators and traders, adoption by mainstream companies continues to grow.
