Nasdaq: Listing Bitcoin Futures By Q1 2019 Despite Bear Market

Bloomberg has reported from those “familiar with the matter” that Nasdaq Inc. is continuing its plans to list Bitcoin (BTC) futures for trading as early as first quarter 2019. Despite the recent lows, Nasdaq is looking to sustained interest as reasons to progress listing Bitcoin futures.

One way in which the Nasdaq product will differ from other Bitcoin futures is by pricing based on a pool of spot exchanges, a service provided by VanEck Associates. Cboe has only one price source, while CME uses four markets.
